Welcome to Villa Gustav!
☀️We have now opened for bookings for season 2025.☀️
We have two apartments in Senj (6 beds in each) in Nordic standard - both with 180 degrees sea view. The beach with crystal clear water is just three stairs down.
There is walking distance to large grocery stores and lots of restaurants. In the medieval village of Senj you can still find the genuine and avoid frills and crowds on the beaches prices are significantly cheaper here than in southern Croatia.

Today we rented a boat in Sveti Jurai. Always at the same place - Taxi Daba!
We saw a lot of dolphins this morning and we stayed a long time just to enjoy the scenery. What a lovely experience 🐬🐬🐬🐬🐬

Vi vill att Villa Gustav ska vara ett ställe där vi och husets gäster kan ha det bra och njuta av livet.
Vi hyr ut veckovis med bytesdag söndag. Det finns två lägenheter med vardera s*x sovplatser fördelat på tre sovrum, ett badrum med dusch och toalett samt ett badrum med toalett och tvättmaskin. Köken är rymliga och mycket välutrustde, med spis, ugn, micro, kyl och frys, diskmaskin samt gott om köksutrustning inkl. brödrost, espressokokare och kaffekokare etc. Lakan och handdukar för dusch ingår i hyran, medan ni själva tar med er handdukar för stranden. Det finns luftkonditionering i alla sovrum. Allt är helt nytt och helt renoverat under 2018/2019.
Villa Gustav har fått sitt namn efter vår son Gustav som gick bort i cancer redan vid 13 års ålder. Gustav var en kämpe, under sina 11 års sjukdom gnällde han aldrig utan var alltid lika glad, positiv och tacksam. Han var en varm, snäll och omtänksam liten människa som gjorde ett stort avtryck under sin korta tid här i världen. Gustav älskade livet och han älskade att njuta. Att sitta i en solstol med en kall dricka i handen och titta ut över havet var något av det bästa han visste. “Detta är livet” brukade han då säga.

About Villa Gustav
We want Villa Gustav to be a place where we and our guests can relax and enjoy life.
The apartments can be rented on a weekly basis, with start on Sundays. We have two apartments with six beds in each, divided by three bedrooms, one bathroom with shower and toilet and one bathroom with toilet and wash machine. The kitchens are very well equipped, with stove, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher as well as toaster, espresso cooker, coffee maker etc. Bed linen and towels for shower are included in the rent, while you will bring towels for the beach yourselves. There is air conditioning in all bedrooms. The interior is brand new and completely renovated during 2018/2019.
Villa Gustav was given its name after our son Gustav, who passed away due to cancer at the age of thirteen. Gustav was a real fighter. During his eleven years of fighting cancer, he never complained, he was always very positive, happy and thankful. He was a warm, kind and caring little person who made a huge footprint during his short life in this world. Gustav loved life and he loved to enjoy everything that life has to offer. To sit in a sun chair with a glass of cold soda in his hand and watch the sea, was one of the best things he knew. “This is life” he used to say.
