Our home town Split!
Split is economic and administrative center of Middle Dalmatia and the second largest city in Croatia.
It is also the jumping-off point for exploration of the coast and islands of the beautiful Croatian Adriatic.

The story of Split is already 17 centuries old, dating to the time when Roman Emperor Diocletian decided to build his Palace right on the peninsula near the great Roman city Salona, where he wanted to spend the last years of his life.
Split offers endless opportunities for outdoor adventure. And what better way to explore the outdoors than with your campervan or RV rental?
Split is conveniently located in central Dalmatia. The city gives you easy campervan access to three national parks: Krka, Kornati, and Plitvice Lakes. The latter is perhaps the most well-known, with its breathtaking series of 16 terraced lakes and numerous waterfalls. Krka also offers stunning waterfalls, while Kornati Park boasts uninhabited islands. The crystal-clear waters are perfect for diving or snorkeling.
As you move your campervan Southeast from Split, the rugged coastline will take you to Biokovo Nature Park. A mountainous area with thrilling activities like a skywalk 1,228 meters high, you'll be able to see the entire region from above.
Alternatively, take your campervan rental Northwest, where you'll find the Vrana Lake Nature Park.
While Split's national parks offer amazing inland experiences, remember to explore the coastline. The Adriatic Sea is a breathtaking blue, and there are numerous beaches to choose from for swimming or sunbathing.
As for lakes, Blue Lake and Red Lake are must-sees. The former, also known as Modro Jezero, is a stunning turquoise color with a hiking trail around the perimeter. Red Lake, or Crveno Jezero, is known for the caves located on its edge and the small island in the middle. Both lakes are sinkholes, meaning they have no visible inflow or outflow of water and are fed by rain.
If you're looking for a more adventurous river experience, add the Cetina River to your campervan rental trip. A whitewater rafting trip on this river will take you through stunning turquoise color.
