Split, an iconic city of the Dalmatian coast, it would be a dishonor to miss this historic hubs while visiting Croatia. Croatia's second-largest city is a great place to see Dalmatian life as it’s really lived. Always buzzing, this exuberant city has just the right balance of tradition and modernity. Accommodation - Amelie's Studio Apartment in Split, Croatia
Amelie's Studio Apartment is in old town Split (Varos). The ground floor apartment is built in the old stone walls and rests in a small cobblestone alleyway 150 metres from Split Riva. Diocletian's Palace and Split Harbour is only 400 metres away, as is the main market place (pjaca). There is a local store directly in front of the apartment and local bus to one of Split's beautiful beaches, Obojena and Kasjuni. The closest swimming spot is in Bacvice only 600 metres away. Amelie is surrounded by fantastic cafes, quaint eateries and vegan options. Marian lookout is also only minutes away on foot (beautiful pine forest and medieval chapels). You can see the whole of Split and out to neighbouring islands. Transportation to all Croatian islands is at your doorstep. To get to Split, fly into Split airport and take the Croatia Airlines bus into the harbour. The bus meets all flights during the summer season. Cost is 30kn (AUD 6 or 5 euros). It is an easy 400 metre walk from there..... We know you will fall in love with Amelie, as you will with the history of Split and its majestic islands and Azure beaches!
