Understandably, some people may wonder why we don’t post more frequently on social media, but our decision long ago was that it wouldn’t be our top priority. We believe that social media should be something that inspires us and helps us share occasional special moments rather than being a source of frustration or obligation resulting in the superficial overproduction of nice-looking images. If we share something, it’s because it’s truly meaningful to us, and we want to convey that energy and emotion to others.
Today, we had one of those special moments that we feel compelled to share. Where we were welcomed by the kindest hosts with the biggest hearts, enjoyed a unique hidden place, and savored homemade food. The place was photogenic and “Instagramable,” but to present it on that superficial level would fail to capture all that it truly has to offer, all that is not tangible.
It’s a place where silence and birdsong exchange, stars shine brighter, and simplicity reigns.
It’s a place that embodies our roots and traditions and leaves us feeling grateful and joyful. These are the kind of experiences we believe in, and we want to share with our guests.
