We are the team from Swallow/Lastavica Cruising, and elegant charter company that sails all over the mesmerizing Croatian coast. If you want to combine adventure with relaxation, we just might have the perfect thing for you. Every group requires has a different perspective, and requires a tailor-made experience. This is why almost every route we do is made specifically for our clients. If you want just to sit, relax, sunbath and take in the scenery of the Croatian coast, sailing along its many secrets, we have the right thing for you. If you want a more adventurous holiday, exploring islands on a bicycle, hiking the many hills of our islands and conquering their peaks, we also have you covered. If your aim is to enjoy the Croatian sea on a kayak, or just swim through its crystal-clear waters, you guessed it, we can also help you out with that :)

Lastavica New d.o.o. is a family-owned company. Although founded on the 16th of October, 2017, it continues the tradition of Morska Lastavica Ltd., another Stančić business, founded on the 11th June 2002, in Betina. The director is Filip Stančić. Our company’s main activity is providing tourist services in nautical, health, congress, sports, hunting and other forms of tourism, services and accommodation.

We started out by organizing tourist excursions across the famous Makarska Riviera, including the islands of Brač, Hvar, Kornati and others. For this, we used 14.5-meter wooden boat of the Štilac type, a traditional model of ship, characteristic of 19th and 20thcentury Croatian shipbuilding.

This 14.5-meter vessel was built in 1934. in Korcula, and served for as a transport in trading wine, olive oil, and other agricultural products, as well as in transport of wood, marble, and what may be the most interesting part, in removal of sand from the seabed and its trading. The ship’s true purpose was lost, when roads were constructed along the Adriatic coast of Croatia, and the widespread use of trucks as a means to transport cargo was introduced.

In history this beautiful ship has changed quite a few owners, and with each owner, the ship had experienced certain modifications. It is written that, after the ship has finished serving its constructor, the next ship owner was from the island of Pašman, after that from island of Korčula, then Dubrovnik, then the Ercegović family from Krilo-Jesenice, finally ending up with us, in Betina.

Due to our growing business and offer, we needed a better and bigger boat, so that our passengers have complete comfort during longer journeys. Ship Lastavica was built in the year 2008., as the result of the ideas of Captain Igor Stančić, based on his long experience of sailing the seas of the world, and because of this reason, it is unlike any other ship, truly unique in the world. The original Lastavica has no brother or sister. You cannot see a ship like this anywhere else in the world.M

In 2019 and 2020, we added two more ships to the fleet. The 49-meter-long Lastavica (a new vessel, bearing the same name), and its sister ship, Swallow. These sister ships are already numbered amongst the best vessels in the Adriatic. Equipped with state-of-the-art comfort, excellent service, and cruising along the best routes in Croatia, these ships are unlike anything else you can find in the Adriatic Sea.
