This is the week in which we remember all the victims of Vukovar during the fall of the Croatian town after a devastating three-month siege by Yugoslav troops and Serb paramilitaries in 1991. Unfortunately, watching the news from around the world, we see that even to this day people still haven’t learnt anything from the past. 🇭🇷🙏

One of the ways of keeping our cultural heritage alive is to teach our children as much as we can about it! Folk dances and songs take us back to the times when people would gather and spend their days and evenings together! In the times when TV wasn’t in every room of our houses, people were closer to each other than we are today! These children live in a place I work in and they show that there is future for keeping our culture and tradition alive! Croatia is much more than sun, beach and sea! Enjoy every aspect of it!
