We wanted to share our road trip with you. An experience that bridges Vis Island and MoaAlm in Austria, while having time to reflect on the wonderful Zora memories we have.

Craig built a bed and storage in the landrover, I created a practical outdoor cooking set up. We covered 7,600km with highlights including the Mercantour National Park, olive picking in the Pyrenees, staying with friends in Spain and Switzerland, cycling in Provence and surfing in the area’s around Aljezur, Portugal.

Last night we arrived to our winter home at MoaAlm. It felt good to drive up the snowy road and feel the embrace of Sophie and Tobi. It’s the first time we have been here without Zora but we know she’s always with us in her quirky spirit, leaving happy footprints in the snow…

Full of emotions and with the heaviest of hearts, yesterday we kissed and hugged Zora for the last time. A mild and tender soul, Zora will forever be in our thoughts. It’s been a special 14 years, a Vis island dog who grew up by the sea but then also fell in love with the snow and mountains.

A month ago Craig and Simon took part in an unforgettable experience at the Drill and Chill Slackline Festival in Bosnia.

Walking highlines over breathtaking canyons, surrounded by nature and with an incredible community of adventurers.

Constantly pushing their limits and trying to find balance and being inspired by the athletes taking part. It was quite the learning experience and one that has inspired both of them.

Chasing the last rays of the sun on this first day of October and paddling into paradise…

Nothing beats the serenity of the open water and the magic of an autumn day on Vis Island.

Our season maybe over but our desire to make the most of this gift of gorgeous weather remains!

We post a video of this scene often, but this one is special.

Whilst the clouds are beautiful and the guests are happy, what makes this one special is that Zora decided to join. Since Zora was a puppy she has been part of the yoga in the mornings. This year, at the age of 14, only on a couple of occasions has she committed to the morning ritual.

On the very last yoga morning of the summer season of 2024, Zora made the choice to follow the group and take back her role as an assistant teacher.
