Meet Dida Frane. We like to say - it's the perfect boat because its light body doesn't produce waves, but only brings peace and joy 😇

It was named after the first captain of the Cukrov family - Frane, who embarked on his captaincy adventure as a young man with just one decrepit wooden boat. During the slower times of the 'salbunar' (sand dredging boat), he used it to extract sand and trade it ⛴️

"I am Desto, a "trabaccolo" who is awake for 123 years. I was born in 1900. in Chioggia, a fishing village on the edge of the Venetian Lagoon. 🛥️

I changed several owners, but the first man who loved me to the end was Frane Cukrov. It was only with his family that I knew I had come home. I experienced full maturity with them, and as a "salbunar" boat, I extracted and transported sea sand.

Now, I take cheerful passengers on romantic tours to the Krka River and Šibenik archipelago. 🌅

This is not only one underwater cleaning we have done this year, and while we are waiting for the big one by the end of September, yesterday we visited bay Tijašnica. 🌊 Thanks a lot to Eko udruga Prvić Šepurine for an invitation and the team from the diving club Ronilački klub "Roniti se mora Šibenik" for one more cooperation. 💙🤍 ➡️ All of us participated, seven divers and six volunteers who were helping on the Colnago 33 boat, and we collected even 300-400 kilos of waste.
