Experience Vodice in Croatia - a pearl on the Adriatic coast
Rent an apartment in an environmentally friendly house approx. 200 m from the city's most well-known beach.
Solar panels are heating the house and the apartments are held to a high standard including a kitchen, one/two bedrooms, living room, bathroom, balconies with sea view etc. All the apartments are equipped with ventilation, temperature gauge, AC, fire alarms and escape plans in case of emergency. Available for use outside is a barbecue with adjacent gazebo and parking for those coming by car.
The Croatian Ministry of tourism has awarded us with three stars *** for our apartments. The beach is in close proximity, only a short walk away (200m), closest store is ~100m from the house and a 400m walk will take you to the centre of the city with its picturesque marina.
Vodice is a little pearl on the Adriatic coast with cosy cafés and restaurants situated approx. 5 km from the city of Šibenik. The airport in Split is about an hour away by car as is the airport in Zadar. Each one close enough to explore some of the UNESCO heritage sites in them. Close to Vodice is the National park Krka (www.npkrka.hr ) and Np Kornati (www.npkornati.hr ) where there are boat trips organized from the local marina. (Or if you would rather go by car to Np Krka that can be arranged as well.) Adventure seekers can visit the beautiful NP Plitvice (http://www.np-plitvicka-jezera.hr/en/ ) or NP Paklenica which offer mountain climbing and hiking on larger areas. The city of Vodice offers other activities such as biking, diving, surfing etc. For those in search for more nightly activities it also boasts with the largest club on the coast Hacienda.
