The Kornati islands boast truly astonishing beauty. Their interesting geomorphology, huge indentation of the coastline and wealth of living marine ecosystems makes this area particularly unique. The majority of the sea-bound area of the Kornati Archipelago was proclaimed a national park back in 1980.
