🎉 Kick-off Conference for the "Before Time: Empowering Women and Communities for Protection Against Cervical Cancer" Project! 🎉

On 10 December 2024, the Hilton Hotel – Podgorica hosted the kick-off conference for an important initiative aimed at enhancing cervical cancer prevention and early diagnosis. Organized by the Institute of Public Health of Montenegro, this project focuses on increasing the use of services like vaccination, education, counseling, and screening, promoting community-based over institutional services. 🌍

This conference marks a significant milestone in launching the "Before Time" project, empowering women and communities to protect themselves against cervical cancer.

🚀 Exciting News for Entrepreneurs - Approval of twenty-four projects within the 1st Call of the EmBRACE SPF project! 🚀

🔹 The initial budget of the call was €3,000,000, but due to the overwhelming number of high-quality applications, it was increased to €4,100,000! 💡

🔹 Out of 62 applications, 24 projects were approved, with total eligible costs of €4,811,916.77—€4,090,129.24 of which come from EU funds.

🔹 These approved projects showcase incredible regional collaboration🌍:
18 projects have three partners
19 include a partner from Montenegro
22 feature a partner from Bosnia and Herzegovina

🌿 The AllerShield project officially launched on 27 November 2024!

This cross-border project focuses on improving air quality and public health in Zadar County, Banja Luka, and Podgorica by monitoring allergenic pollen and combating invasive species.

Real-time air quality data will be available to citizens and tourists, helping to reduce the impact of allergens on their health. The project will also create an online monitoring platform to provide valuable data to stakeholders across the region.

👉Our project "Improving waste management infrastructure and mainstreaming 10 Rs of circular economy for sustainable development of Ulcinj, Vinkovci and Orasje - R10D3" held the Kick-off conference in Vinkovci on 4 November 2024.

INTERA Technology Park organized a conference titled “Gaming for New Generations: Opening New Opportunities for the Development of the Gaming Industry in the Region,” which took place on 5 November 2024 in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This conference also marked the official presentation of the project “Investing in the Future: Gaming for New Generations CBC GAIN,” through which a Gaming Development Center will be established in Mostar.

ℹ️The GAIN project aims to strengthen the local gaming scene, provide young developers and creatives access to necessary resources, and create opportunities for collaboration between businesses, institutions, and organizations in the region.

💶Project duration is 24 months and total budget is EUR 858,279.00.

👉The kick-off conference of the SmartProtect project was held on 26 October 2024, at the Public Institution Fire Service Center for Education and Technological Development Split-Vučevica.

💡The main goal of the project is to further enhance the capacities of emergency service organizations in the region and increase cross-border efficiency in responding to natural and man-made disasters, primarily focusing on forest fires, land degradation, illegal waste dumping, and sea pollution.

MoWaCLIM project launched to preserve the Neretva Valley 👏

💡MoWaCLIM is focused on preserving and strengthening agriculture, the area’s second most important economic sector after tourism.
During the kickoff meeting which took place at the end of October in Metković, partners discussed the history of salinization in the Neretva Delta, presented local plant characteristics affected by salinity and highlighted sustainable water management and biodiversity monitoring as crucial to addressing climate change.💪
