This 1st-century that once hosted gladiatorial contests and other public spectacles, places 6th among preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world, and is the only one in the world whose three Roman architectural orders have been completely preserved.

Apart from being a first class of P**a city, this day's arena is used as a venue for many concerts, operas, ballets and P**a FIlm Festival. In addition, different took place in the former glorious gladiator arena - football match between the former players of FC Bayern Munich and the Croatia national football team, two professional ice hockey games and tennis matches!

The Cetina River Spring (Izvor Cetine), also known as the Eye Of The Earth is an incredible karst spring located at the foothills of the Dinara mountain range in Croatia.

The Eye Of The Earth in Croatia got its name because it looks like a blue-green dragon eye from above.

The Izvor Cetine spring is an incredibly beautiful hidden gem in Croatia and top on the list of the coolest and most unique places in Croatia.

Croatia’s unique heart-shaped Galešnjak island stole the hearts of romantics all over the world when Google Earth revealed it in all its glory, bringing it to the attention of the world over a decade ago.

The small island, nicknamed Lover’s island, is located in the Pašman channel.

But, did you know that the island is not the only heart-shaped island in Croatia? There are more, and interestingly they are all located near Zadar on the Dalmatian coast.

Formed like a series of terraces, the Krka and Čikola Rivers spill over 17 travertine steps into deep pools before flowing into the next set, creating Skradinski Buk which towers 45 metres high.

The Krka falls are so strong they helped power the world’s second oldest hydro-electric plant, yet the pool below is so tranquil.

St. Nicholas fortress - the proud sea guardian of Šibenik and UNESCO's
pearl within a protected natural area.

The fortress is the only Venetian military fortification completely surrounded by the sea. It was built in the 16th century on the islet of Ljuljevac at the site of the former Benedictine Monastery of St Nicholas, from which it took its name.
