How to win the Africa Eco Race 2025 ???

By renting our race winning Scania .

The Race truck is available to rent or buy along with the service truck that is fully stacked with spare parts, necessary tools, accomodations with shower, kitchen etc. for 6 crewmembers, generator, welder, air compressor.
The truck was manufactured in 2019 and finished 2nd in the 2020 edition in Dakar , Senegal.

GM 6.2 LS3 Race engine with VVT FIA Spec.

You might ask: why VVT ?..........why not just bore and stroke it and install a hot cam?
The answer is simple: FIA regs. for the Cross Country World Cup and a 38 mm air restrictor.
Normally the LS3 breathes through a 90 mm throttle body and delivers over 400 HP.
To extract similar power using a 38 mm entry is a tall order:…..Thats where the VVT comes into play.
While GM used Variable Valve Train technology mostly for emissions purposes and better fuel economy, we programmed a very capable EMtron ecu and we use the system to maximize the volume of air into the cylinders through the 38 mm air restrictor by optimizing camshaft timing.
Since its a single cam for intake/exhaust, we are concentrating on the timing of the intake valves, more specifically to the timing of the closing of the intake valve in reference to piston position.
The beauty of the VVT is that an improvement in high rpm power doesnt sacrifice low-end torque, and vice versa.

The complete engine kit consists of:
Engine as pictured
EMtron ECU programmed
Electric drive by wire pedal
ECU electrical harness with aerospace connectors
Price of complete kit: 35000 Euro ready to ship

Custom alternator and/or power steering pump brackets available as an option
Custom on-site programming at a test track available, as is technical support.

Jean-Louis Shlesser : "We are working and planning on the next edition of AFRICA ECO RACE 🇲🇦 🇲🇷 🇸🇳 2022, MONACO - DAKAR.
This edition will be organized in the pure tradition with a departure from Monaco. The whole caravan will board the boat towards Morocco. On January 4th, 2022, the participants in the AFRICA ECO RACE will take the start and travel through Morocco 🇲🇦 , Mauritania 🇲🇷 and Senegal 🇸🇳 . After having traveled nearly 6500kms, all the competitors will meet on the shores of the mythical Lac Rose, on January 16th, 2022."

Covid-19. The World has come to a grinding halt, just like our truck in the
desert. (It looks quite hopeless, doesnt it ?)
But hey......we got help..........and finished on the podium.
