➡️ The expiration date of residence permits issued to Ukrainian asylum seekers has been automatically extended to 4th March 2025.
➡️ The new expiration date is valid despite not being reflected in the residence documents themselves, by authority of the new government decree.
➡️ Should the permit holder need to travel abroad, a replacement permit is necessary, and the asylum authority will replace it upon request. For this process, it is necessary to submit the previous residence document.

🚨 A new immigration law will come into effect on 1st January 2024 in Hungary, and all permit applications will be halted between 1st January and 29th February 2024.

Indeed, it can be quite hard for a foreigner, but our British Managing Director Stuart McAlister proved it otherwise as he speaks the language fluently. 💁We provide a mini-lesson for you here. Inter Relocation just completed its annual Shredding Days. 😁Every year we hire an industrial shredder and as a team, we shred all the documents that no longer need to be stored in our archive. Whilst this is fundamentally a compliance and data security issue, we also do our best to be kind to the environment. 🌿🌍The immigration processes we complete require a lot of paperwork so when we finally dispose of those papers, we ensure both that the personal data they contain is destroyed effectively, and that the shredded paper is fully recycled. Even the plastic bags we use are recyclable! 👍 #recycle

Inter Relocation is a specialist provider of relocation destination services and immigration compliance. The company was founded in 2002 in Budapest, Hungary and now provides support to more than 900 expatriates each year across 25 countries in Central and Eastern Europe.

Our clients come from all over the world so we're certainly skilled in matters intercultural and although we have a lot of major corporate clients, we're happy to work with smaller companies and individuals as well.

Inter Relocation is the only Hungary-based holder of the European Relocation Association's Global Quality Seal. This is the world's first quality accreditation programme for relocation service providers. Based on an ISO:9001 process management model, the EuRA Global Quality Seal specifies the processes and Key Performance Indicators that reflect the very highest standards in relocation services. The scope of programme actually exceeds that required for ISO:9001 as it includes all the generic aspects required for this internationally recognised quality standard but then adds additional elements specific to the relocation industry.
