It seems I've just found the cutest mini statue of Budapest, it's Kermit the Frog from the Muppet show. 🤩🐸
This funny little frog sits on the Szabadság tér (Liberty Square). This place is one of my favourite in Budapest, as it is just a couple minutes walk from the Parliament building and you can see amazing buildings in the area like the former headoffice of the Hungarian National Television.

What do you know about Hungary? I bet you've heard about the GULYÁS and the great wines, probably about the baths... But have you heard the one of Europe's greatest music festival is organized in the heart of Budapest? We have some great islands in the middle of the Danube and one of its is called Obudai island. This is the birthplace of the Sziget Music festival, that is my favourite festival btw 💓💓
So on a sunny Sunday I decided to visit this island by bike, and I took some photos about it, it's the time to share them with you.

River, Island and a nice beach near Budapest? Where is this place? You can easily find this nice spot in Dunakeszi, about 10 kilometers from Budapest on the North. The city has a delightful river bank, it is very chilling to bike or walk around here in the winter or early spring days. In the summer everything is changed here as the is fulfilled with restaurants, bars and a loooooong free Danube beach.
Deffinetely worth a visit.

Amazing hiking route even with a babygirl 💚 and it's only 40 minutes from Budapest! 🥾
Tag me if you've been here in the last couple months ➡️

The name of this amazing place is Gyadai Tanösvény, it's located in Szendehely, a few kilometers from Vác. It offers about a 6-7 km long route for the visitors and amaze us with hidden treasures like a suspension-bridge and tricky walking paths.
Deffinetely worth a visit if you live in Budapest like an expat or a student and you have more time to look around.

Hi there, my name is Kriszta – a licensed and accredited tour guide from Hungary.

If you’re looking for a private tour guide in Budapest who is able to combine knowledge, experience, local insight and a barrel-load of fun along the way… then you came to the right place!

I graduated in Human Resources and worked in HR for many years, until I just realized, that I would be more than happy to make a big change, and start to work with Tourists in the tourism industry. I graduated as a Tour Manager and started to mix my professional training with my own passion for Budapest.
