Esterhazy cake or Esterházy torte is named after a Hungarian noble family. The cake was invented by confectioners of Budapest in the late 19th century and it has been essential to the Hungarian gastronomy ever since.
What is in it? Walnut meringue and custard buttercream layers topped with fondant glaze and melted choccolate 🍰😋😛
