The surprising banister 🐦 of the Educationlal Institute for the Blind (1905-1908) is one of the gems planned by Béla Lajta. A fantastic detail are the Hungarian verses embedded in Braille writing. 💙

Ectlectic with details, the Anker building in Deák Ferenc Tér is one of the buildings in Budapest that demand to be seen. Like it or not, this wild mix of styles is, to say the least, unique. This is how it looks from the inside 🤫👀

Kőrössy Villa 🌸
Architect: Kőrössy Albert Kálmán.
He designed, among others, a villa that bears his name (pictured), where he lived, as well as the Walkó House (Aulich utca), the yellow Sonnenberg-ház painting in Munkácsy Mihály utca, but also massive buildings like the high school on the same street and the unusual Tündérpalota (Fairy Palace), which is rather off the beaten path. The Gonda House in my previous post too.
