Delicious sweet cottage cheese balls 🙂 Ingredients For the dough: 500g cottage cheese 1 teaspoon vanilla sugar 2 eggs 1 pinch of salt Zest of 1 lemon 100g sugar 140g semolina For the ’skin’: 50g butter 250g breadcrumbs For the finishing: 3 teaspoons icing sugar 400g sour cream Cinnamon Steps In a mixing bowl, crush the cottage cheese with a fork. Add the eggs, vanilla, icing sugar and lemon zest, and a little salt, mix it Add the semolina Stir until it forms a smooth dough Cover the mix with a foil and put it in the fridge for 1 hour Shape the dough into small balls Boil water, add a little salt, cook the balls for 3-4 minutes In a pan, melt the butter and add the breadcrumbs, stirring until brown Roll the balls in the breadcrumbs then serve with sour cream mixed with icing sugar and cinnamon ps.
