AIR - Association for International Relations Ha szeretnél egy nemzetközi csapat része lenni, gyere el a következő előadásunkra és ismerj meg minket közelebbről is! Nemzetközi Hét (International Week).

Az AIR egy nemzetközi diákszervezet, amely tagja az IWCO (International Week Coordinating Organization) nevű szervezetnek, melynek tagjai európai és ázsiai országok vezető közgazdasági egyetemeit képviselő diákszervezetek összesen 24-en. A szervezet feladata két részre oszlik: évente egyszer egy nemzetközi hét megszervezése, valamint az év során folyamatosan a szervezet alapelveihez köthető előadá

sok szervezése. Az AIR által szervezett legfőbb esemény egy kulturális és üzleti hét az ún. A Budapesti Nemzetközi Hét évente kerül megrendezésre a világ minden tájáról érkező 20-25 diák részvételével. Ezalatt a hét alatt vendégeink üzleti és kulturális eseményeken vesznek részt: a gyárlátogatások, szemináriumok és workshopok mellett betekintést nyerhetnek a magyar történelembe, konyhába. Kitti, our Vice President responsible for International Relations, represented our organization at the IWCO Conference in Ljubljana in August.

“The event brought together representatives from International Weeks worldwide for an exciting and productive week. We concentrated the main conference activities into three busy days, discussing IWCO's future and exchanging ideas. Every day, we enjoyed fun team-building activities that helped us bond and work better together. When we weren't in sessions or networking, we explored Ljubljana, experiencing the local culture and creating great memories. The new format gave us plenty of time to relax, get to know each other, and enjoy ourselves. By the end of the week, we had not only made progress on IWCO's plans but also formed friendships with people from all around the world.”

Ready to say goodbye?...Me neither.

[IW Budapest - Days 8 & 9]✨

The final two days were dedicated to sightseeing and exploring everything we hadn't yet seen. On Wednesday, we started at Vajdahunyad Castle, wandered over to Heroes' Square, and explored nearby museum buildings, ending up at City Park for a company visit with the Ligetprojekt. The evening concluded with an escape room activity.

Finally, our last day began in Pest, where we explored the National Museum and its park, walked past stunning buildings, and visited St. Stephen's Basilica to take a look inside. The day continued with a tour of the Parliament building. Later in the day, after getting ready, we enjoyed a heartfelt farewell dinner followed by a party filled with last dances and warm goodbyes—or see you laters!

Are you ready to see our mandatory pubcrawl attire?

[IW Budapest - Days 6 & 7]✨

On Monday, we began with an intriguing visit to Ilcsi, a Hungarian skincare brand. After lunch, we made our way to Buda for some exploration. We wandered through the historic areas, toured Buda Castle, admired the views from the Fisherman's Bastion, and marveled at the details of Matthias Church. Despite clocking in a million steps already, we still managed to party all night at Morrison's 2.

On day 7, we gathered at the Zwack Museum to have all our questions about Unicum liquor answered. Our merch collaboration with them was a huge hit: everyone received a T-shirt they can proudly wear within the IW community. In the afternoon, we relaxed at Margaret Island, gearing up for the evening's activities: the unmissable IW pub crawl with a unique twist, followed by a night-ending party at Instant.

Ready to continue with the trip down memory lane?

[IW Budapest - Days 3 & 4 & 5]✨

After an authentic train journey filled with card and word games, we arrived at Siófok for our cottage weekend by Lake Balaton. We walked to our accommodation and received a warm welcome with homemade pálinka. Once settled in, we headed to the beach for tun games, team activities, photos, and chats. Preparations tor international dinner began afterward, and late into the night, we enjoyed delicious culinary masterpieces from each country and culture, and instead of succumbing to a food coma, we partied into the night.

The next morning, we woke up early and traveled to Fonyód to catch water taxis to Badacsony for an incredible wine tour. The organizers and participants bonded over numerous glasses of wine, with plenty of joy all around. After exploring Badacsony, we returned to Siófok in the evening to the inviting smell of a traditional Hungarian camp dinner: krumplipaprikás and lecsó. Following dinner, international drinking was on the agenda, giving everyone the chance to taste various liquors and enjoy the fun times that followed.

Upon managing to get out of bed after the previous night, we packed up and returned to the city for a relaxing day at the Veli Bej Spa, one of Budapest's Turkish baths. In the evening, participants enjoyed dinner with their hosts, spending quality time together.

Ready to revisit our favourite spring memories?

[IW Budapest - Days 1 & 2]✨

First, everyone arrived and we kicked things off with a private welcome party, enjoying some snacks, introducing ourselves, and delivering the country presentations. The official agenda was handed out, and excitement for the week ahead was palpable. We played beer pong to get the party started but called it an early night to be well-rested for the next day.

On day two, we visited Corvinus University of Budapest, a prestigious institution known for its economics and business programs and beautiful architecture. The participants got a taste of the challenging Hungarian language in a Hungarian 101 crash course. To further immerse ourselves in the culture, we enjoyed a traditional Hungarian lunch of goulash and paprikás. Afterward, we participated in an outdoor team activity trading with locals on the streets of Budapest under a rainbow, ending our unique city center tour at Szimpla Kert, the famous ruin bar. We soaked in its unique atmosphere before heading home to prepare for the next day's cottage trip.

Back in April, Switzerland stole Gellért's heart. Let's hear it from him:

"Incredibly cool organization team and awesome participants. Luzern is my favorite city so far in Switzerland although I was so tired and hungover that day. The best moments were: Thursday night's party with a skincare routine at the end and going to bed at 6 am and Saturday night's party with a beer pong tournament (we won…obviously), some dance action, and David's stiff hip moves. I slept 2 hours that day because I had to catch my train, but it was worth every second of it."
