The separated dining room gives opportunity for big breakfasts to start the new day in a good mood or even for an atmospheric dinner together at evening. The 2 elegant bedrooms are equipped with king size beds, one of them with led-tv for your relaxation. The extra bed for the fifth guest is a sofa bed in the living room (bed size: 115x210 cm). In 2 bathrooms (one with wc, bidet and xxl-shower, the other one with wc and tub) you can take your refreshing shower or relaxing bath. The fully equipped kitchen serves your comfort. All the kitchen equipments as the cutlery, glasses, porcelain tableware are signed with the label of the best European brands. The Lavazza espresso machine offers you italian coffee for free as you find also mineral water in the fridge. The house built in the last years of the Monarchy (Hungarian-Austrian Empire) in 1912-13. With one of the first elevator of the city. At the next corner you can use the first subway of the European continent, opened in 1896. Or visit the amazing cafés (coffee shops) around. The New York Palace with famous New York Café (rated in 2012 as the best café of the world) situated also just 10 min. Walk from our place. The movie of Grand Budapest Hotel is based on the story of this place. In the afternoons take your towel and go the the next thermal bath or Turkish Bath in the city. Autumn is slowly arriving in town. You can still enjoy the last moments the big outdoor vibes, terraces during the day, but also nice to jump into hot pools of thermal baths, visit museums, go to concerts or have a coffee and cake in amazing cafés.

After the big heat we had an extreme cold and rainy week over Central-Europe mid September. As usual it comes with the flooding of the Danube from Germany, Austria in a few days later. Next to traffic difficulties, closure of river shore quays, tram lines it was a touristic attraction also for locals to visit the river banks for a selfie. Now the weather is nice and sunny again, in a few days the marks of flooding will be not more visible, city will be back in the normal daily routine.

20 of August - St Stephen's day - we celebrate the foundation of the country in 896. Street parties, concerts, programs 3 days long and the big traditional fire works over the Danube 5 km long for more than 1 million visitors on the rivee shores 😎

The popular Margaret Island just a stone's throw away from the Parliament and Downtown offers perfect refreshing on hot summer days.
