Szabi Kovács and our team in Transylvania is working hard for the best experiences from our bear hides every day. However, nature sometimes pays back, so did yesterday when walking back to the car after a photography session they found a mother bear and three small cubs near the trail in the forest as they were climbing down a tree before they disappeared. Be aware that cuteness level is very high in this short video... :)

Proper winter arrived to the Hortobágy today with some snowstorms. It is supposedly going to be cold (-20C) this weekend. The activity at our eagle hides is pretty amazing. Today about 40 eagles were seen at our two hides! A little video from earlier today (from our well hide) showing the wintry conditions by Janos Olah

Snow Bunting
Snow Bunting is a rare winter visitor in Transylvania but in the meantime quite regular in the Hortobágy National Park. This short video was taken in the end of November in Transylvania.
White Pelicans

In the Danube Delta area live more than 19 000 individual confrom the newest counting in May 2016 by the Romanian Ornithological Society (SOR).
