Faházunk a Duna-kanyarban tökéletes helyszín arra, hogy elvonuljatok a nagyvárosi élet pörgésétől. A kandalló melegét élvezhetitek egy kiadós túrázás után, de főzhettek a konyhában, vagy grillezhettek is a tűzrakó helyen.

A hely A Deer Mountain Retreat a kedves kis faházunk a nagymarosi Rigó-hegy oldalában, lélegzetellátó Duna- és Pilis-panorámával - a Nap- és a Holdkelte is látható egyenesen a verandáról és a házból is. A ház egy 1000m2-es, dél-keleti fekvésű telek felső részén helyezkedik el, a hátsó kert mögött már az erdő lakói élnek. Maga a ház 1975-ben épült egyedi tervek alapján, amit az elmúlt évben felújítuttunk, négyévszakosítottunk és korszerűsítettünk. A felszerelt konyha, kényelmes háló, komplett fürdőszoba esőztetős zuhannyal, izgalmas fények és a kandalló mind apró részletek, amik hozzáadnak a kikapcsolódáshoz. A telek lenti részén akár 2 autó is kényelmesen tud parkolni, a Rigó-hegyi utca vízszintes, télen-nyáron jól közlekedhető. ha többet szeretnél megtudni a ház mindennapjairól, keress rá a deermountainretreat hashtagre az instagramon. Mit használhatnak a vendégek? Használhatjátok a házat természetesen, és a ház melletti teret, ahol a tűzrakó hely is van. A ház mellett kültéri lépcső vezet fel a telek felső részéhez, ahonnan még teljesebb Duna-kanyar panorámával fogtok találkozni, és a függőágyaink is várják a használatba vételt. Van fent egy pottyantós WC-is. ☺️ (A rendes WC a fürdőben van.)

Egyéb fontos dolgok A házikóhoz vezető, kertünkön belüli út viszonylag meredek, lépcsős, érdemes ennek megfelelő lábbelit húzni. Mint ahogy Nagymaroson mindenhol, nálunk is hallható a menetrend szerinti vonat, de maga vidék és a ház környezete csendes és meghitt, a szomszédos épületeket nem lehet a ház szintjéről látni - annál inkább erdei mókusokat, madarakat és gyíkocskákat.

Our Danube bend cabin is the perfect place to escape from all that big city hustle and bustle. You can put your feet up in front of the fireplace after a hike, cook a hearty meal in the kitchen or grill in the nearby firepit

Deer Mountain is very much still here for you at this tricky time. The only thing changing is our making an extra big effort to keep everything super clean and sanitised for our Deer Guests. We're also switching to an automated check-in process for the moment +++ The space Located in Nagymaros, on the Blackbird Mountain side, with breathtaking views of the Danube and Pilis, the Deer Mountain Retreat is our lovely little cabin. The front porch is the perfect place to watch both the sun and moonrise. The house is located at the top of a 1000m2, South-East-facing plot of land, backing on to wild forest. The house itself was built in 1975 from original plans and we have renovated, rebuilt and modernized over the past year. The fully-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedroom, bathroom with a rainfall shower, custom design lighting and fireplace are all small details that add to the relaxing atmosphere. If you want to know more about the everyday life of the house, search for the #deermountainretreat hashtag on Instagram. Guest access You can use the house, of course, and the space next to the house where the fire pit is. Next to the house is an outdoor staircase leading to the upper part of the site, where you will get a more complete view of the Danube Bend, while swinging in our hammocks. There's also an outdoor toilet, if you need it ☺️ (The normal toilet is in the bathroom.)

Other things to note The path leading to the house, inside our garden, is relatively steep, so we would recommend appropriate, outdoorsy footwear. Like most houses in Nagymaros, we do hear some train noise from the tracks along the river, but the countryside and the surroundings of the house are quiet and intimate. The neighboring buildings cannot be seen from the level of the house but you will see plenty of forest squirrels, birds and lizards.
