💙 ZOOM ON NUSA CENINGAN 🌴

👉🏼 Nusa Ceningan, the little sister of Nusa Lembongan is located only 30 minutes by speedboat from Bali 🛥

The island is directly connected to Nusa Lembongan by the famous yellow bridge. 🌟

The total area of the island is about 3 square kilometres, so only a few hours are needed to go around the island and stop at the most beautiful spots. Nusa Ceningan is famous for its snorkeling, surfing and seaweed culture. In fact, 95% of the population lives from seaweed farming! 🌊

The most beautiful spots of the island are the Blue Lagoon and its turquoise waters 🐠, Mahana Point and its waves ideal for surfing 🏄 , Secret beach and its white sand 🥥 or the restaurants at the edge of the beach with a view on the seaweed culture.

💙ZOOM NUSA LEMBONGAN

During your trip to Bali with MimpiGO, you can add a stop on a small and welcoming island away from mass tourism, Nusa Lembongan. 🏝

👉🏼The island is organised in two parts. The west coast of the island is the most touristy with its accommodation and beautiful beaches, some of which are reserved for seaweed farming. The eastern part is wilder and is bordered by mangroves. A diversity of landscapes very appreciable when one makes the turn of the island Lembongan.

Mushroom Bay 🍄 is a must-see spot to visit. It is a small bay located in the southwest of Lembongan Island. This crescent-shaped cove of white sand is very famous for its mushroom-shaped corals. Many activities can be practiced here, including diving and parasailing. 🪂

Next, head to Dream Beach, a white sandy beach ideal for a drink especially at sunset. 🌅 It is located in the south of the island.

💜 BALINESE CEREMONIES 🙏

Every day ceremonies take place on the island of the gods. The great wealth of Balinese culture is one of the main charms of the island. 😍

The Balinese are extremely religious, most of the rites and ceremonies are directly linked to hindouim religion. The Balinese are very open-minded and tolerant, the various ceremonies are open or public and tourists are well accepted. ☺️

👉🏼Every year big special ceremonies take place like Melasti aka the great cleansing followed by Nyepi, the new year of the saka calendar. There is also Galungan for the creation of the universe, Saraswati, the ceremony dedicated to the goddess of knowledge or Odalan, to celebrate the foundation of the Odalan temple.

🗻ZOOM VOLCANOES OF JAVA

If you're planning a trip with MimpiGO, it would be a shame to miss the beauty of Java's volcanoes such as the Bromo or Kawah Ijen. 😍

The Bromo volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the world, surrounded by a lunar landscape 🌗 nicknamed the Sea of Sand.

It must be said that the Bromo crater commands respect. It is still today a very active volcano with thick wisps of white smoke coming out all the time, all with an intense roar! 😱

The Kawah Ijen volcano, on the other hand, is known for its blue flames that result from the combustion of several gases, offering a beautiful sight.
It is in fact these blue flames, immortalized and made famous by National Geographic, that have given the site its reputation. 💙

As far as safety is concerned, it's more reassuring to go into the sulphur mines with the right equipment and accompanied by our local guide who is also a former reconverted miner ⛏ and who therefore masters to perfection the safety instructions and the attitudes to have in case of danger.

Gili Meno is the smallest island (1.5 km²) of the 3 Gilis, north of Lombok. It is the only island among the 3 Gili islands to have a freshwater lake. 💧

But Bali is also mass tourism, hyper developed areas like around Kuta and scams for naive travelers. The island of the Gods has many faces and this is actually what makes its charm and uniqueness. 🙏🏼

👉🏼Canggu, a surfing spot in the south of Bali, has in recent years become THE fashionable spot for travelers in search of authentic Bali. 🏄 Everything moves very fast on the island of the gods and in Canggu, new addresses have multiplied.

But Canggu still has an endearing atmosphere and brings together all the must-sees and clichés of Bali: the beach, unforgettable sunsets, surf spots, rice fields and temples. 😍
