The Kecak dance is one of the most popular dances in Bali. This dance tells the story of Ramayana, an incarnation of Vishnu ‘God of Protection’.
One day the Goddesh Sita was abducted by a mythical king Ravana. Ramayana gathered an army of monkeys and bears to search for her. The allies attacked the island Lanka, and killed king Ravana to rescue the Goddesh Sita. This dance show is performed at the Uluwatu temple supported by a beautiful sunset on the beach of Bali.
