schedule. Two friends have offered us their help and their boats JIWA ALAM & LAMBO!

This is a great opportunity for us to collaborate and manage our fully booked SAMA-SAMA schedule until March 2020 and beyond.
For our friends’ boats, it is a chance to learn from the SAMA-SAMA team, the pioneers of trailblazing surf charter routes in EAST NUSA TENGGARA & MALUKU ISLANDS!

We are still fully in charge of the logistics and operations!
Further our surf guide skipper as well as kitchen chef Dul will continue to work onboard for all SAMA-SAMA boat trips. Our website will be updated soon with more details and pictures of the boats Jiwa Alam & Lambo and the new booking schedule for 2020 / 2021!

The loss of SAMA-SAMA
We have very sad news, three weeks ago we have lost our boat
the SAMA-SAMA.

It happened on a beautiful night during a very smooth crossing, when she suddenly hit the reef of Karoso beach in west SUMBA.
Luckily no one was injured during the evacuation. We were able to rescue the most valuable equipment unfortunately we couldn’t save her.
Words cannot describe how sad we are to lose her - it feels like losing a friend - The memories we have will stay in our hearts forever!

The SAMA-SAMA would not be who she is without the livelihood of all those who have experienced her.

We will miss SAMA-SAMA!

It’s always amazing to see SAMA SAMA the surfer‘s dream maker out of the water and get a close look of it’s artistic work! The iconic boat building craftsmanship has been recently acknowledged by the UNESCO to ensure that this unique tradition which has been passed by generation to generation is kept alive! The building process is an art that only the locals from Sulawesi could master in such perfection and beauty! We are proud to care about this boat since 19 years and make sure to maintain it with the best materials and workers available! There is always room for improvements and we will keep you updated!
