3 Days trip over north Bali-Dolphin Watching-Volcano-Ubud
Discovering the untouristy parts of Bali, be connected with nature, explore peaceful Hindu temples and local villages.
Day 1
- [ ] Pura Taman Ayun: A Royal family temple of Mengwi that’s built in 1634 AD surrounded by a big moat and beautiful garden.
- [ ] Sangeh Monkey Forest : it consists of over 15 hectares of ancient nutmeg forest inhabited by few hundreds macaques divided into 3 groups.
- [ ] Bayan Ancient Tree: it’s predicted to be 700 years old growing in a small village of Bayan.
- [ ] Coffee plantation : a chance to learn about coffee processing including the famous Luwak Coffee in a local coffee farm up in the mountain village.
- [ ] Jatiluwih Rice Terraces : it’s the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage of the most picturesque rice terraces of Bali with spectacular view over central mountains of Bali and the volcanoes.
- [ ] Pura Ulun Danu Beratan: a famous Hindu temple built on the side of Lake Beratan with stunning garden.
- [ ] Gitgit Waterfall : it’s one of the beautiful waterfall of the northern Bali.
- [ ] Lovina for a night stay.
Day 2
- [ ] Banjar Natural Hot spring : we can have a good swim at this natural hot spring fed pools. It’s great for our skin as it has sulphuric in it caused of the volcanos.
- [ ] Brahmavihara Arama : a beautiful Buddhist monastery built on the hill side with a great view over the sea.
- [ ] Munduk Village: it’s a mountain village with coffee and clove farming. We also can have a little hike here to visit an nice waterfall of Munduk.
- [ ] Pura Ulun Danu Tamblingan : an ancient temple that’s built on the lakeside. It’s truly quiet and peaceful here caused of the rain forest around.
- [ ] View of Twin lake Buyan and Tamblingan
- [ ] Banyumala Twin waterfall : you can have such a lovely swim at this magnificent waterfall with a lovely lagoon. It’s surrounded by beautiful rain forest.
- [ ] Lovina for the night stay
Day 3
- [ ] 6 am boat trip to see the dolphin in the sea and with possibility of enjoying a beautiful sunrise.
- [ ] 12:00 Hotel check out and We are going to explore a bit of the old capital of Bali, Singaraja City. Having a look into the local traditional market.
- [ ] Pura Beji Sangsit: a 15-century built Hindu temple that is dedicated to the goddess of rice , Dewi Sri. It’s a very elaborate temple with beautiful carving that shows the beauty of northern Bali ancient architecture.
- [ ] Driving up towards the second active volcano of Batur to see spectacular panorama over the lake and Batur Caldera.
- [ ] Pura Tirta Empul with its sacred spring that was believed to be created by the God Indra. This temple has many sacred fountains where local and visitors are able to have holy water purification ritual known as Melukat in Balinese.
