Hello folks!

I'd like to introduce you to Travis and Kristie Robertson. They are the new owners of Nyumpene. Lovely couple from Geelong, VIC and they are huge Bali fans - so you're in excellent hands.

I am delighted to say that Ketut and Niko are staying on so nothing has changed at all. You can still expect the same warmth, laughter and comfort as you always did.

Seriously happy to say that (finally!), we're re-opening on 1st April. Ketut and Niko are still here and with luck, Mia will come back from hibernation in Java.

Well, it was a long time coming, and a vote was taken - Ketut, Mia, Niko and myself (especially Niko!) agreed that the bamboo should come out. It blocked way too much natural light and the root system literally strangled the grass and any plants that we tried to nurture. In 6 months it will look amazing especially as the rainy season is about to kick in! 🙂

We've been lucky enough to have found one of these magnificent jungle ferns that was saved when a new house was being built. Really happy to have adopted this magnificent tree for our garden which becomes more colourful by the month 🤗
