This location is a great and now easily accessible hill forest to montane forest site in East Java, with good forest along a c8km section of metalled road from 800m-1800m elevation, and then a popular tourist track to Ijen’s blue lake crater (c2386m) . At the time of writing species such as White-bellied Fantail, Dark-backed Imperial Pigeon & Pink-headed Fruit Dove are still relatively widespread along the main road, and two species with very localised distributions, White-faced (Grey-breasted) Partridge and Sunda Grasshopper (Javan Bush) Warbler are both relatively abundant (although not necessarily easy to actually see well!). Tips berkunjung ke Ijen
1. Pastikan kamu tidak memiliki asma, jantung dan tekanan darah tinggi
2. Makanlah 2 jam sebelum pendakian
3. Gunakan baju hangat atau jaket
3. Gunakan sepatu gunung atau sepatu yang cocok untuk melakukan pendakian
4. Bawa penerang ( senter )
5. Bawalah 📷 atau smarthone yang bisa mendokumentasikan momentmu
6. Belilah tiket pendakian, tiket pendakian akan di buka pada pukul 01.00 pagi

BLUE FIRE The blue fire is ignited sulphuric gas, which emerges from cracks at temperatures up to 600 degrees Celsius (1,112 degrees Fahrenheit). Those gases are directly originated from the magmatic chamber under the volcano. The flames can be up to 5 metres high; some of the gas condenses to liquid and is still ignited.
