这座寺庙位于Tiban Mentarau，

Half-fish and half-lion, the iconic Merlion resides at the Merlion Park waterfront.

You’ve probably seen images of Singapore’s national icon, the mythical Merlion with the head of a lion and the body of a fish.

The Merlion's body symbolises Singapore's humble beginnings as a fishing village when it was called Temasek, which comes from the same root as the word tasek ('lake' in Malay). Its head represents Singapore’s original name, Singapura, or ‘lion city’ in Malay.

Today, you can glimpse this legend at Merlion Park. Spouting water from its mouth, the Merlion statue stands tall at 8.6 metres and weighs 70 tonnes.

This icon is a must-see for tourists visiting Singapore, similar to other significant landmarks around the world.

Built by local craftsman Lim Nang Seng, it was unveiled on 15 September 1972 by then Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew at the mouth of the Singapore River, to welcome all visitors to Singapore. (Wiki)

The Stadthuys was built between 1641 and 1660 on the ruins of a fort which belongs to the Portuguese. It is believed that the Stadthuys is the oldest Dutch building in the East. Beside the Stadthuys is also another fine example of the Dutch architecture which is the Christ Church that was built in 1753. Also, Attractions nearby are aplenty. Just a short walking distance towards the opposite of the Stadthuys is the renowned Jonker Street where you can try famous Malaccan delicacies such as the chicken rice ball, nyonya laksa, cendol and so on. There are also many souvenirs which you can buy at the Jonker Street. Before you can get to Jonker Street from the Stadhuys, you will cross a river. Gardens by the Bay is horticultural theme park south of Marina Bay in Singapore. Opened in June 2012, Gardens by the Bay is made up of three waterfront gardens: Bay South (54 hectares), Bay East (32 hectares) and Bay Central (15 hectares). Gardens by the Bay, a 101-hectare horticultural attraction, contains 250 thousand rare plants in domed conservatories.
