The Stargazing / Milkyway Tour in Mount Bromo is a magical tourist experience, this special spot in the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park has dark skies (when there’s no moon, mostly between the 6-12th beginning of the month), so you can see the stars well without city lights getting in the way. It’s up high, about 2,329 meters (7,641 feet) above sea level, which means you get an awesome view of the sky and the unique landscape of mountains and volcanic plains. The weather is usually clear and nice, so you’ll have lots of chances to see stars, planets, and even the Milky Way, which looks amazing without all the city lights.

Before stargazing photography or Milky Way hunting:

1. Check Weather: Ensure clear skies for optimal viewing. Clouds obstruct visibility.
2. Moon Phase: New moon phases are best for capturing fainter celestial objects.
3. Location: Choose dark sky areas away from light pollution for better visibility.
4. Time and Season: Different constellations are visible at different times of the year.
5. Camera Settings: Use manual mode, wide aperture, high ISO, and long exposure.
6. Focus: Use manual focus or infinity setting for sharp images.
Safety: Bring essentials like a flashlight and warm clothing.
