Bali Bucket List Challenge #2 - SEE THE REAL BALI
Too many tourists travel from around the world but never get further than Kuta and Legian. There is so much more to Bali than just bars, fancy hotels, beach clubs, hipster cafes and yoga classes.
Many people now lament the declining culture of Bali but rest assured outside of these areas, it is alive and well. It is just waiting for you to find it.
Our suggestion : Hire a bike or car and see as much of Bali outside of these tourist hot spots as possible. Don't give yourself an itinerary, time constraints or make bookings in advance. Talk to local people and find out about any upcoming ceremonies in their villages.
