Ir. Temmy Wikaningrum, M.Sc., Head of the Environmental Engineering Study Program at President University (PresUniv) and three Environmental Engineering Study Program students, were presenters at the 4th International Conference on Sustainable Infrastructure and Built Environment (SIBE) 2022. The three students were, namely Putri Laila Anggraina, Sekar Arum, and Nurpita Sinurat. This conference was organized by the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) and lasted for two days, Tuesday and Wednesday (8-9 March 2022). The seminars at this conference were divided into 10 sub-themes with 144 presenters from various institutions in Indonesia and abroad, covering civil engineering, ocean engineering, and environmental engineering.

As an international university, President University (PresUniv) is concerned about global warming caused by those human activities that are damaging the environment. For this reason, PresUniv is committed to reducing those activities that damage the environment, especially around its campus. As proof of its commitment, PresUniv in 2021 succeeded in increasing its UI GreenMetric ranking. PresUniv managed to rank 61st (out of 101 Indonesian universities) at the national level, an improvement of eight places from the previous yearst 69th places position (out of 87 universities). In the same year, PresUniv's position rose to 664th (out of 956 universities worldwide) at the international level.

Saturday, (26/2), President University (PresUniv) officially launched the Agribusiness Study Program (Prodi). This is the newest study program at PresUniv and is included in the Business Faculty family. With the addition of the Agribusiness Study Program, the Faculty of Business now offers five undergraduate study programs and one postgraduate master study program.

The webinar was entitled “Question and Answer of Clinical Opportunities to Become a Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine” presented Prof. Dr. Budi Setiabudiawan, dr., Sp.A(K), M. Kes., Dean of FoM PresUniv. The webinar was attended by doctors from the Regional Public Hospital of Bekasi (RSUD), Bekasi Health Service, Permata Keluarga Hospital, and various other hospitals.

For two days, Saturday and Sunday (12-13 February 2002), President University (PresUniv) and the Faculty of Medicine, Padjadjaran University (Unpad), held an Academic Leadership workshop. This workshop is a follow-up to the plan to establish a Faculty of Medicine at PresUniv. The workshop was attended by a team from PresUniv, such as the Chairman of the President University Foundation, Prof. Dr. Ir. Budi Susilo Soepandji, DEA, Rector of PresUniv Prof. Dr. Chairy, all vice rector, such as Handa S. Abidin, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D, Dr. Dra. Fennieka Kristianto, SH, MH, MA, M.Kn., and Dr. Josep Ginting, SE, MM, as well as the deans, heads of study programs, and other support teams. Meanwhile, the team from Unpad consists of Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Arief S. Kartasasmita dr., SpM(K), M.Kes., PhD., Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Dr. dr. Yudi Mulyana Hidayat, Sp.OG(K), manager of research, partnership, and innovation at Faculty of Medicine dr. Dwi Agustian, MPH., Ph.D, Prof. Dr. Budi Setiabudiawan, dr., Sp.A(K), M.Kes., lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, who later became the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, PresUniv, and several others. The two-day workshop was guided by Prof. Dr.med. dr. Tri Hanggono Achmad, Professor of Medicine who is also Rector of Unpad (2015-2019).

Jeanne Francoise, a lecturer of the International Relations Study Program, President University (PresUniv), was a speaker at the Belneg Icon event titled Literasi Sejarah dan Budaya Masa Depan broadcast live on BelNeg TV, Thursday (20/1). BelNeg TV is a media that focuses on various current issues, historical narratives, and literature about Indonesia. At this event, Jeanne discussed defense heritage in general and digital literacy for literature and history in modern times. According to Jeanne, many things can be extracted from the defense heritage.

The number of Private Universities (PTS) within the Institute for Higher Education Services Region IV (LLDIKTI Region IV) continues to decrease. If in 2018 there were 467 private universities, in 2021, there were only 450 private universities. The reduction was triggered by several factors, such as the merger of private universities, closures, changes in form and the transfer of location from LLDIKTI Region IV to other regions. This was explained by the Head of LLDIKTI Region IV Dr. M. Samsuri, SPd, MT, during his visit to the President University (PresUniv) campus at Jababeka Education Park, Jl. Ki Hajar Dewantara, Cikarang Baru, Bekasi.

Starting this period, the Bureau of Internship & Career Center (ICC), President University (PresUniv) held an Internship Briefing, Saturday morning (29/1). In his opening remarks, JB Susetiyo as the Director of ICC, emphasized the importance of internships not only as part of lecture activities but also as the starting point of a student's professional career journey in the company.

Tuesday (18/01), the Mechanical Engineering Study Program, President University (PresUniv), held an exhibition and poster presentation of the seven students' projects. This activity is an assessment component of a combination of two courses, namely Industrial Automation and Engineering Design Project. These two courses are a substitute for the thesis. This poster exhibition is held for ten days, from January 10 to January 18, 2022. Students are also required to make presentations about the posters and demo prototypes they have made. This presentation and demo were attended by 30 Mechanical Engineering Study Program students.

Karawang, mid-October 2021. That day the Department of Tourism and Culture, Government of Karawang Regency, in collaboration with the Putra dan Putri Batik Karawang Association, held the Putra dan Putri Batik Karawang (PPBK) election event.

One of the students from President University (PresUniv), Natasha Nicolas Meape Achariga, commonly called Natasha, participated in the event. Natasha is a student of the Communication Study Program, batch 2019. She won the Putri Batik Karawang 2021 award.

Ario said that for the last six years, he spent time studying the dangers of a tsunami in Indonesia caused by an earthquake. He said that recent studies show that sea-level rise due to current climate change also impacts the tsunami hazard. "Therefore, I am trying to expand my research to integrate the impacts of climate change and tsunami hazards," he declared.
