BALINESE NEW YEAR, Çaka 1938..

Dear Customer,
Sorry we're Closed tomorrow, March 9th -2016.
Cos we will celebrate NYEPI DAY (silence day, as our Balinese New Year 1938).
Whole Bali island will closed 24 hours, from 6am till 6am the day after..

The Meaning of the ritual is:
To respect the Nature, Give them freedom and breath freely one day in a year from our hustle and bustle Human being activity of work. Who makes a lot air polution, give a lot panic to whole animals we met in this Universe.

This day Hindu Bali peoples, will stay at home and do nothing, just look back ourself, evaluate all the thing we've done last year to be more better in this New Year.

Four thing are not allowed to do this day;
*1, AMATI GNI (No Fire.)
Means no Cooking, we do fasting for 24 hrs.. The Aim is to respect the Tree, we dont pick the leaf for vegie, no slaughtered animal for meat.. So they are totaly safe today.
And no light at night time, so we are totaly devoted.

*2, AMATI KARYA (no working)
Means, Our human body are free today..
No need to work so hard as usualy..

*3, AMATI LELUNGAAN.. (No Traveling)
Means no any engine of Car or Factory will switch on that day..
It will make free Air polution in Bali for 24 hrs.
The road are empty, we can feel the Animal such as bird, Dog and others are feel free to play and lay down on the street without disturbing by people activity.

*4, AMATI LELANGUAN.. (no entertainment)
People will stay away from Modern life.
No gadget, No tv program, No music etc..
