Good morning from Bali 🙏❤

How is everyone?

Pura Bukit Sari in the Sangeh forest was built in the 17th century by one of the princes of the Mengwi kingdom.

According to legend, before this temple was built the area was very arid without any vegetation.

After this temple was fully completed, the gods bestowed abundant trees, which later became the habitat of thousands of monkeys (Macaca fascicularis) who were believed to be the guardians of this sacred place.
