Don't imagine Devil's Tears Nusa Lembongan as a white sandy beach. The beauty of Devil's Tears does not lie in its white sand, but the waves crashing against the cliffs there.

The coral cliffs that are directly adjacent to the Indian Ocean and the waves that break the cliffs are the main contributors to the beauty of Devil's Tears Nusa Lembongan.

Uniquely, the waves that hit the reef very hard can cause bursts of sea water into the air. Then the sea water foam fell on the rocks and like a spring that fell and then flowed back into the sea.

That's why these rock cliffs are called Devil's Tears which can be interpreted as devil's tears. Quite a scary name, but not a scary thing you see, but an extraordinary beauty.
