Windu Villas is Leaving Bali!😢

Villa Windu Asri has been purchased by new owners; we are therefore sad to advise Windu Villas operations in Bali have closed.

Absolute bliss

I cannot rave enough about this villa and the fantastic staff who took care of us whilst we visited. Beautiful rooms, amazing service and fabulous food. All in a great central location. Incredible! Thank you for making our holiday sooooooo very incredible. Even better than the photos, this place is a dream come true.

Most amazing stay ever

My friends and I rented both Windu Villas for a long weekend to celebrate my 40th birthday. Everything from start to end was nothing by first class. The style and interior of both villas are stunning - each room, the bathrooms, the swimming pools and facilities are 5* and super spacious. Beside this - the service of Made Ada and his team are clearly one of kind. Each of the staff was so lovely and kind to us - we felt immediately more than home. The birthday party was executed in the most perfect way. I had not to worry about anything. Everything was decorated in style, food and drinks were classy, yammie and very generous - and overall I could have not wished for anything more. I can't express my appreciation enough and thank Made Ada and his team enough. It was by far my best weekend ever. Thank you so much!!!!!!

Today, Bali is celebrating the peak of 10 days celebration of Galungan and Kuningan. It marks the beginning of the Balinese calendar "Pawukon". 🎉

During Galungan Balinese celebrate the victory of the good against the evil (Dharma vs Adharma), the creation of the universe, and the most important is Gods together with the spirits of deceased relatives who have died and been cremated return to visit their former homes, and particularly stay in the family temples. The current family have a responsibility to be hospitable through prayers and offerings, until they depart back to heaven on Kuningan day. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Another thing that we surely notice are the penjor (bamboo poles with offerings box suspended at the end), which have been installed by the side of roads in front of everyone's house. This resembles a mountain, that provides welfare and safety to whole family. 🎋
