There’s always something to put a smile on your face in Bali.
Today we ordered two 3 mt palms for the new pots.
Couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw them arrive on a scooter, with each frond tied carefully together .
All the rider needed was a Pina Colada to complete the scene.

Friday night saw another incredible storm in Sanur.
On the corner of Tamblingan and Kesari we had a tree come down taking power lines with it.
It’s all cleared up now but the rain continues to fall.
There’s only one thing to do when it rains in Bali SHOP !
Should it be more Pots or a lounge to sit on in the Bali Hut? 🤔

Many of you will remember the beautiful Yucca tree that grew over the pool in Sapa 2.
We agonised over removing it, as it was starting to lift tiles with the extensive root system.
Finally we had to make the decision so we wanted to replace it with something just as beautiful.
Welcome to ‘THE POT’ .
It took four men to bring it in but I’m sure you will all agree it’s a stunning piece of Balinese workmanship.
We are hoping to fill it with beautiful Lipstick palms.

To say that Bali has had a bit of rain might be an understatement.
Many of you would have dined on the deck at La playa .
Unfortunately the high tides have caused the collapse of there deck.
Let’s hope they can rebuild soon with the busy holiday season approaching.
