Tirta Empul Temple is one of the most famous holy spring water temples in Bali. This complex is a place of worship for the god Indra. The god Indra is the manifestation of the god Wisnu, the god of water.

There are three large pool sections in this temple complex area. Each pool has several water taps with a depth of about 1 meter.

So there are a total of 21 watercourses in the pool area: 13 located in the west part, 2 in the middle, and 6 in the eastern part of the pool. This pool is a place where you perform a ritual of self-cleansing by wetting your body and head under the drainage water
