Located in the densely populated area of South Jakarta, this three-story house occupies a
slender 5.5 x 22-meter plot, serving as a residence for a family of three. The primary challenge on this
narrow plot is the limited access to natural daylight. With neighboring walls encircling three sides, the
central part of the house yearns for adequate illumination. The solution here involves detaching the
eastern side of the house, allowing for the presence of a slim skylight. This addition effectively
floods the interior with ample daylight, significantly reducing the dependence on artificial lighting.

Reni Island, a hidden paradise nestled among the Raja Ampat Islands, is a tranquil gem located approximately 8-10 hours away from Sorong city by sea transportation. Despite its seclusion, Reni Island offers easy access to its picturesque shores, with any direction reachable within a mere 500 meters from the island's center—an enjoyable 5-minute stroll amidst the island's 440 inhabitants.

While Reni Island embraces its peaceful atmosphere, it faces challenges related to limited access to electricity and water. As tourism flourishes on this island, there arises a pressing need for greater and more sustainable resources. To address this, this proposal has emerged to transform the island's airport into a rainwater reservoir that serves dual purposes—supporting airport operations and providing a crucial resource for the local community.

The terminal's interior design minimizes the use of partition walls, driven by logistical limitations, and replaces them with serene water ponds. These ponds not only act as zoning dividers but also serve as a passive strategy to naturally cool down the indoor temperature. This thoughtful integration of water elements not only enhances the aesthetics but also contributes to the comfort of those within the terminal.

Bandara minim dinding??
-
