Discover the Wondrous Borobudur Temple

Discover the mystery and history of Borobudur temple, one of the Seven Wonder of the World which is stands on a small hill around 42 km to the west of Yogyakarta. The next visit will be Mendut Temple with its great statue of Buddha seated with two disciples.

Borobudur is one of the world's most famous temples. It stands majestically on a hill overlooking lush green fields and distant hills and rises in seven terraces, each smaller than the one below it. The top is the Great Stupa, standing forty meters above the ground. The walls are sculpted in base relief, hailed as the largest and most complete ensemble of Buddhist reliefs in the world. Built in the eighth century, and 'discovered' by Raffles in 1817, the monument has now been completely restored.

Explore the Most Elegant and Magnificent Temple of Java

The excursion will be visiting Prambanan; the temple of the “Slender Virgin” which is also well known as complex of Lorojongrang, generally considered to be Java's most elegant and the spring temple, noted for the graceful proportions of its 47 meters central Siva temple.

This magnificent Hindu temple derives its name from the village where it is located, 17 kilometers east of Yogyakarta. It is the most magnificent and beautiful Hindu temple in Indonesia dating back to the middle of the ninth century. It has eight shrines; the three main ones are dedicated to Vishnu, Brahma, and Shiva, which rises to a height of one hundred and thirty feet and houses the magnificent statue of Shiva's consort, Durga. The Ramayana ballet is performed here on an open-air or Indoor stage (according to weather conditions) regularly every TUE, THU and SAT
