A college student Takaya Awata (founder and president of Toridoll Group) sometimes visited a small Takitori pub to relax after study and work. He worked hard and his dream came true in 1985 at Kakogawa city in Hyogo prefecture, Japan, as Yakitori pub "Toridoll 3rd store" with his dream at that time of "i will have at least 3 stores in the future". He struggled to survibe and changed his store into
western style with variety of cocktails to target young women. This chance was successful, which lead him to have 5 stores in 1996. Toridoll open their first establishment in Jakarta. Located in Gandaria City Mall, Toridoll brings fresh and modern concept of Yakitori restaurant to the community.
