Preparing for the Jepara's first all-women artists exhibition that will be held from December 22 to 24, 2023, Jaladara held yesterday a discussion on Kartini.
@susierna1 spoke about Javanese women's education before, during and after Kartini's era and Kartini's own school and what she and her sisters taught.
Kartini's spirit to never give up being a "cultural ambassador", to educate Europeans on the Javanese spirit, to emancipate her people, OUR people through art, was the theme of @traveljepara 's presentation.
We also talked about her and her sisters' role in preparing minds that led to our independence.

Led by @jackarimun , this time we wandered (jokka-jokka) through a mangrove forest, to a pier looking out on a mangrove bay where used to be sea, had traditional Buginese lunch and learned their eating manner and philosophy, visited an old woman who weaves roofs out of coconut leaves and went out into the sea on small wooden boats to see a seaweed plantation and to swim when the sun was setting.
Such an enjoyable trip that enriches you with insights into other culture.

51 years of marriage and each almost 80 years old, this lovely couple traveled to Tempur and to Karimunjawa.

Spending 3 nights in a cozy tent in the camping ground of @kampoengkopitempur , we learned that there are people in @desawisatatempur who have been replanting tobaccos. One of them is @om_andi.01 , a young man who has chosen to be a farmer, a profession not many people of his age dare to take.

Strolling through the villages, hamlets and jungles of the island of Kemujan, Karimunjawa, this Italian couple, staying at @bungajabebeach , were guided by @jackarimun who plucked for them some passion fruits and cherries that grow at his garden, told them the philosophy of a Buginese house on stilts, brought them to the cashew forest, to an old lady who makes roofs out of coconut leafs, to a traditional boatmaker and to the biggest harbour in Karimunjawa that located in the bay where pirates used to park their boats.

The Jepara branch of @kawali.or.id @kawalijawatengah planted mangrove trees on the coast of Moro Rejo village in Jepara. They started yesterday evening and continued this morning.
This action is a collaboration between Kawali Jepara, Polsek Koramil Mlonggo and the people of the Moro Rejo village.
Aditya, the head of Kawali Jepara, hopes for a continuation of this action so that other beaches in Jepara can be saved from abration.
