Three bedroom private villa for rent in East Bali - hidden treasure
To most people Bali evokes magical images: where do you find such a small island (5600 square kilometers) with such a variety of fauna, vegetation and culture?
A range of 6 volcanoes runs from east to west creating tropical forests, crater lakes, rapid streams, deep ravines, terraces of rice fields, unspoiled bays and sunny beaches.
The Hindu culture fascinates us with beautiful temples and ceremonies. In addition Balinese people are friendly, and invite you to explore all the new sights and sounds and all of this in a very pleasant climate during the entire year.
We are Theresia and Jonathan, a mixed Dutch-Indonesian couple. We met while Jonathan was working in Jakarta. During these Jakarta years we fell in love with East Bali, we traveled all over Indonesia but kept coming back to this area. We moved to The Netherlands in 2009 for Jonathan’s work, and whilst we are enjoying our life there, we haven't forgotten about Indonesia! Our favorite place still is and always will be this beautiful east coast.
We are thrilled to have been able to acquire Villa Celagi in November 2015. Celagi is the Balinese word for the tamarind tree that grows next to the pool. Our villa lies directly on the seashore. The house is built on the lowest terraces of the hillside on inclining terrain. From here you see that the world is round: From our terrace you have a 180° view of the Bali Sea! We love staying here, we hope you will too!
