There is no bad weather on the Island of the Gods. There is always something to do and see.
So the answer to the question "when is the best time to fly to Bali" is very simple: ALWAYS.

Read more about the benefits of the rainy season:

➕Based on official data, the rainy season lasts from November to March. But in practice, the rainiest months are January and February.

➕Tropical downpours are unpredictable, rain may come out of nowhere, and a few hours later there is no trace of it. It doesn’t rain every day. Most of the time it rains at night, while the daytime is sunny.

➕Remember that the beach season in Bali is all year round and during the rainy season the water in the ocean and the pools is at its warmest.

➕There is another plus: the reduction of house prices. Especially this trend begins to show after the NewYear holidays.Find a comfortable hotel, transport to rent is not difficult, as at this time the supply exceeds the demand.

➕This is a great time to go sightseeing and take your pictures. This time is especially perfect to devote to sightseeing programs.

➕Half-empty beaches and the absence of the scorching sun. This is also a kind of plus, as the rest becomes more calm and measured nature.

➕The biggest advantage is the-nature. All the vegetation on the island begins to shine in completely different shades, the fields become bright green, very rich, unusual color, and water streams become more powerful and full of water. Waterfalls appear in all their glory. A tropical rain forest has a very special and magical atmosphere.

➕On the plus side, we can also include the fact that the island is quite large. If the forecast calls for rain, it doesn’t mean that it will rain over the entire island.

➕But even if you are caught in a downpour, doubt it will upset you. Since the weather at this time is hot, such a tropical shower is another fun attraction for tourists.

In summary, the rainy season is not as scary as it may seem at first glance. What is more, if you spend a year or more in Bali you will fall in love with this season.

So don't forget to pack an umbrella or raincoat and see you in Bali.

🎉🎉NEW REGULATIONS on international travel to Indonesia.

Things you need to know:

1. You still need visit visa to enter Indonesia. But you can now officially apply for a visa with the purpose of "TOURISM", and not just business as it was before.

2. To enter Indonesia you will need the following documents:
🌸 Visa
🌸 PCR test (with sample taken not earlier than 48 hours before departure)
🌸 Vaccination certificate (you can enter only after 14 days from the last dose)
🌸 Insurance with a minimum coverage of $25,000 and coverage of Covid.
🌸 Return ticket
🌸 Quarantine hotel Confirmation (QR-code)
🌸 Download the PeduliLindungi app and fill out the E-hac form

3. You can choose where you would like to undergo your quarantine:Jakarta, Surabaya, Manado, Riau Islands OR 🌴 BALI 🌴.
But note, that to undergo quarantine in specific city this port must be your first point of entry to Indonesia. For example you can't transit via Jakarta and quarantine in Bali.
To quarantine in 🌴 BALI 🌴 you will need to fly to the island directly. At the moment, this will be possible if you take Singapore Airlines with departures starting from February 16, 2022.

⌛Quarantine Duration is 5 days /4 nights

Did you know that Bali is actually 4 Islands?
While Bali is the name of the island, it is also a province that includes a handful of smaller islands congregated off the main island’s southeast coast.

These are Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan, and Nusa Ceningan – a cluster of much smaller islands just a 45 minute boat ride away from Sanur port. They are still relatively undeveloped and tourism is only just beginning to take off there, so its definitely worth a visit.

EXTENSION OF B211 E-Visa

One of the main advantages of B211 visa is the fact that you can extend it up to 150 (for onshore) & 180 (for offshore) days in total.
After your initial 30/60 days expired you can apply for extension 4 more times (30 Days each).

🤑 While shopping for the cheapest agent for your visa, keep in mind that their “history” for extensions playing much bigger role than the price you pay for the visa, as irresponsible handling of your extensions might cost you millions of Rupiahs, Detention & Deportation.

🚨Things you need to note:

🍀 It’s your responsibility to understand all immigration laws & regulations that are visa related. Visa agents are not responsible for your overstay if you did not submit your passport to the agent for extension on time.
🍀 Start the process at least two weeks before your current Visa expires.
🍀 Meet the agent and hand over your passport, or get it picked up. Make sure you have acknowledgment letter from agent that passport is with them.
🍀 Pay the immigration and service fee to agent & ask for receipt.
🍀 Be in touch with the agent and once Immigration will set the date for your appointment they will inform your agent and you will need to visit Immigration office to submit fingerprints & photo. This procedure is necessary only on your first extension, all your next extensions will be done by agent without your presence. Make sure to follow up with agent on the proof of successful visa extension (photo of the stamp)

With Essence of Asia you will get
👌 All necessary documents: acknowledgment letter, receipt & photos.
👌 Your passport can be picked up & delivered free of charge

Entering Temples in Bali🛕

As a tourist your dress code to enter a Balinese Hindu temple can be simple; you need to wear a sarong and scarf tie on your waist. Also, cover your upper body by wearing a t-shirt.

But if you are interested to dive into this subject deeper then below is the guideline of how to do it proper :

Men and women should wear appropriate attires when entering the temples.
🧒Males should wear several essential items such as udeng (headpiece), a shirt (usually white), kamen (long woven clothes to cover the legs, looks like a Dhoti), saputan (a cloth that covers kamen from the waist to thighs), and umpal (a waistband).
👩‍🦰The clothes for females are similar, only without udeng and instead of white shirt, females usually wear kebaya with a sash wrapped along the waist and a sanggul (hair bun) with flower decoration.

Enjoy your stay in Bali & Respect local culture ❤️🙏

14 March 2021 - One of Indonesia’s most unique holidays is Hindu New Year. Hindu New Year is also known as Hari Raya Nyepi. Hari Raya Nyepi is a day of silence and self-reflection. Hari Raya Nyepi is celebrated on the first day of the Saka lunar calendar. The Hindu celebrations in Bali can last up to several days.

Rituals and Day of Silence on Hindu New Year
The first aspect of the Nyepi ritual is known as Amati Geni. Amati Geni declares that no fire or light can be used on Bali during Nyepi. Amati Geni also restricts the use of electricity.
The second aspect is Amati Karya: no one in Bali may work during Nyepi.
The third aspect is Amati Lelunganan: no one may travel during Nyepi.
The final aspect of the Nyepi rituals is Amati Lelanguan: every person in Bali must fast during Hari Raya Nyepi. Amati Lelanguan also requires people in Bali to refrain from entertainment.
During the Day of Silence, Bali’s people are expected to reflect on their actions over the past year. Many Balinese people will take this as an opportunity to rest and think of ways to improve themselves throughout the upcoming year.

16/02/2021

Bali is renowned for its bright and richly cultural ceremonies, and any visitor who spends more than a few days on the island will be certain to stumble upon a temple festival, colourful procession, or simply a village doing their ritual. Stay longer and you’ll bound to be invited to with family rituals such as birth celebrations, tooth filing ceremonies, weddings and cremations.
Aside from the above, there are also numerous island-wide religious festivals to mark sacred days according to the Balinese calendar that you can witness, or be part of.
Top 3 ceremonies you need to know about if you are planning to relocate to Bali.
Nyepi
The month of March brings Nyepi – the day of silence throughout the whole of Bali. In the Balinese lunar calendar (Saka), Nyepi is New Year’s Day. It is a day wholly dedicated to rest, staying in, turning off the lights and keeping quiet for 24 hours. It is one of the biggest and most unique ceremonies of the year, where staying in and resting is enforced by law. It is practiced island-wide where the Balinese dedicate an entire day to introspection and spiritual cleansing. No businesses are open, no transport is allowed on the roads (except for emergency services) the airport even shuts down for 24 hours.

Galungan and Kuningan
Galungan is a Balinese holiday which celebrates the victory of dharma over adharma (the triumph of good over evil). It marks the time when ancestral spirits of deceased relatives visit the Earth. The last day of the celebration is Kuningan, when they leave earth. The spirits of deceased relatives return to visit their former homes and the Balinese have a responsibility to be hospitable and welcoming to their past ancestors through prayers and offerings throughout their home.

Tumpek Landep
Ceremonial day at which offerings are made for objects that are made of metal. The ceremonies start in the morning hours at the village temple when people gather for special prayers and blessings. Afterwards, at the home compounds, additional ceremonies and blessings follow at which offerings are made for the holy family keris that most families own, but also for cars and motorbikes.
