The holy month of Ramadan has begun. There are a few things you should take into consideration when visiting heavily Muslim populated areas, such as Lombok.
-
Muslims will start fasting from around 3.30am until sundown. So please be considerate when eating and drinking during the day. Try to eat in private or in restaurants that have shutters.

Be patient with those fasting. It takes it's toll physically and mentally.

If you have a tour guide or driver for the day, allow time at the end of the day to break their fasting.

Avoid wearing just bikinis and being shirtless in the streets,

Ramadan is not just fasting from food, but drinks, ci******es, impure thoughts and cravings.

We're super stoked to offer lessons, guiding and surf and stay packages in the new year.

A lot has changed in Kuta Lombok, a Moto GP track appeared, new restaurants and homestays are popping up, and the surf school offerings have increased substantially.

But we've not changed. We always have and always will offer our guests a customised experience, a whole load of fun, an experienced tight knit crew giving you the surf know-how, but with a sprinkling of Sasak Soul magic.
