Love for Lembongan
Alone we can do a little,
Together we can do so much! 💕
When we started @love_for_lembongan four years ago, we met many faces of the community; from children to seniors who were in dire need of help.
Since then we have committed ourselves to do what we can to support their health and wellbeing in whatever ways we can, with the help of Bunda (@rakamanik_puja), a professionally trained nurse and Jungutbatu local.
Last week we went to visit 10 patients in Lembongan village and Nusa Ceningan, for home visits and health check ups. With her utmost tender care, Bunda checked on each patient, gave medication, milk, and other essentials, thanks to donation from Love for Lembongan.
The patients are varied in conditions, some showed progress whilst some required further attention and care. Most of them live in a remote part of the island, with rocky roads and limited access but seeing the patients smile after our visit brings us the most joy.
