Founded on over 20 years experience in the mountaineering and tourism industries, the company’s focus is on providing a unique experience, whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety. Rinjani Dawn Adventures (RDA) runs tailored Rinjani trekking expeditions on Indonesia’s second highest mountain a

nd an active volcano. Entering the Gunung Rinjani National Park, climbing the caldera to look down upon Segara Anak (the crater lake – literal translation “child of the sea”), stopping to bathe in wonderful thermal springs, and finally reaching the summit in time to watch the sunrise. As well as safety, another core value we hold is that of environmental responsibility. We leave no rubbish on the mountain and seek to remove pre-existing rubbish wherever possible.
