The bluespotted ribbontail ray, also known as the bluespotted stingray, is a fish that has beautiful and striking colors when hiding in coral reefs. However, just like most other stingrays, the bluespotted stingray has two poisonous spines at the base of its tail that can retract when it feels threatened.
😮Fun fact: In the wild, only hammerhead sharks have a special technique to paralyze their tail sting. (Source : mongabay.co.id)

Bluspotted ribbontail ray atau yang dikenal dengan Ikan pari totol biru merupakan salah satu ikan yang memiliki warna yang cantik dan mencolok saat bersembunyi di terumbu karang. Namun sama seperti kebanyakan ikan pari lainnya, ikan pari totol biru memiliki dua duri beracun di pangkal ekor yang dapat mencabuk saat merasa terancam.

Located in the northeast of Bunaken, Siladen island is one of the five islands in the Bunaken National Park in Manado, North Sulawesi. Its stunning marine park with numerous colorful fishes and coral reefs as well as a beautiful cave.

The whale shark is a fish that belongs to the group of sharks (Rhincodon typus) and is one of the largest fish. However, despite their large size, whale sharks are known to be docile towards humans and other marine animals. Whale sharks also move very slowly and can only reach 5 km/hour. However, whale sharks can dive to a depth of 1,000 meters.
