Day-to-Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Labuan Bajo - Ruteng (D):
Arrive at Komodo International Airport and meet your local guide and driver. Tour Labuan Bajo, then proceed to Ruteng, stopping at Cancar to view the unique spider web-shaped rice fields. Dinner at Spring Hill restaurant in Ruteng. Overnight at a hotel.
Day 2: Ruteng - Bajawa (BLD):
Start with a view of Ruteng from Golocuru Hill. Travel to Bajawa, stopping at Aimere to observe the distillation of palm wine from lontar fruit sap. Lunch in Bajawa. Visit the traditional villages of Bena and Luba to see traditional houses with sacred symbols and ancient megalithic stone graves. Return to Bajawa, then head to Soa for a soak in natural hot springs. Dinner at a restaurant. Overnight at a hotel.
Day 3: Bajawa - Ende - Moni (BLD):
Travel by bus to Moni at the foot of Mount Kelimutu. Stop at Penggajawa Beach to see the blue stones that appear every morning. Continue to Ende to visit the market and have lunch at a restaurant. Visit the traditional village of Wologai to see the houses of the Lio tribe. If time permits, visit Koka Beach in west Maumere. Dinner and overnight at a homestay in Waturaka Village (Community Based Tourism).
Day 4: Moni - Kelimutu - Ende Departure (B):
Depart at 4:45 AM for the summit of Mount Kelimutu to witness the Three Colored Lakes and the breathtaking sunrise. If time permits, visit Murukeba Waterfall before heading to Hasan Aerobusman Airport in Ende for your return flight.
