Our surf camp is a simple beach resort located on a beautiful white sand beach that will inspire you to do nothing out of existence,…just to be. The island will make you lose the sense of time, as there can’t be future or past, when you are lock in the present, experiencing the here and now. Come and enjoy our heavenly surf destination. The Mentawai islands waves have the best surf to be found. More than anywhere else on earth this region offers the biggest concentration of the most perfect lefts and rights handers waves.
Though the most consistent season is generally between March and November, the surrounding waters attracts swells all year round.
As close as a 5 minutes walk from our camp, you will face E’bay, one of the best left handers in Mentawai. This wave is a perfect round and it has a powerful wall that can be barrelled all the way when it’s going off. In a short walking distance from our surf camp you can also find other great surfing spots, such: Beng-Bengs, Nipussi, Bank Vaults and Pitstops. At the neighboring islands which can be reach by short boat rides you can visit many more world class waves like: Kandui, Burgerworld, Rifles, A-Frames, etc. For having so many great waves in such a close proximity, the area is call Playgrounds.
